Wu Chow, M.Ed., CSAC-A

Wu is a dedicated behavioral health professional and certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC-A) with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Multicultural Counseling from George Mason University. As a Group Facilitator at Novara Recovery Center, Wu leads group therapy sessions that integrate evidence-based clinical approaches with mindfulness and restorative practices.

Drawing from over seven years of experience in behavioral health settings, Wu supports clients in developing emotional awareness, communication skills, and personal insight through group process work. In addition to his clinical facilitation, Wu leads sound bowl meditation groups, offering clients a unique, grounding modality that promotes relaxation, nervous system regulation, and self-connection.

Before joining Novara, Wu served as a Primary Therapist at Recovery Unplugged and as a Behavioral Health Program Assistant at Sagebrush Treatment Center, where he supported individuals through detox and residential recovery programs.

Wu’s therapeutic style blends compassion, structure, and creativity – helping clients access both inner calm and sustainable growth on their path to recovery.
