Robyn is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a clinical background in treating individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. As a Primary Therapist at Novara Recovery Center, she leads Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups and provides individual therapy rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
Robyn draws on training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused modalities to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach integrates trauma-informed and strength-based perspectives to help each client build insight, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Before joining Novara, Robyn provided psychotherapy through River Grove Therapy and Ellie Mental Health, where she worked closely with adolescents, adults, and couples. Earlier in her career, she developed a strong foundation in communication, leadership, and coaching through over two decades in professional development and editorial roles.
Robyn holds a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Swarthmore College. She is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
